Bride to Be

It's been a while since my last post. Actually i'm not really good with maintaining blog! 
Time goes by. My wedding will be held in 2 months insya Allah. The preparation is about eeerrrr 50%. Oh well.. I don't have any defense about the tight schedule. I'm a full time jobber with full time sleeper also. So the passed so quickly.
About the preparation, first time I went to Mayestik (one of the place where people browsing and buy fabric in Jakarta) as a bride to be, my preparation was zero. I looked  around, the other brides to be were well prepared. They brought pictures, magazines, samples, bunch of files. Armed with bare hands, my hunting at that time was quite tiring because I got confused with the color, design, motifs, and so on. Then I intend to prepare like those girls before go for the second time to Mayestik. Not much to tell, the second, the third, the fourth time I went there still no magazine, no files, no pictures.

Paris oh Paris

I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to visit various cities and countries. Although money is not much, but if there is some savings I always used to traveling.
Don't get me wrong, I don't explore exotic places or be a backpacker. Not those kind of holidays. I love the holidays where I remained comfortable bed, shower, food. Comfort is a must! Hehehe...

My family has always been saving for family vacation although carried out with simple or fancy sometime. In my works, several times I had to charge out of town and abroad. God is really good. I love to look at a different place, not necessarily new but different from where I live. Different in the sense of a good difference ^___^

I will try to mention the city I've ever been, for temporary residency, holiday or work. I live in Jakarta, so I'm gonna mention cities outside Indonesia. 
Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Hongkong, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Milan, Rome, Venice.
Of all the countries I have visited, I fell in love with Italy. Totally. And Paris is the city that makes me want to stay forever. My mom said, the most convenient place in the world is our country. Maybe it's true. But I would be grateful if I could live in Italy, let say in Tuscany or Paris.
The buildings, stone paths, windows, doors, walls, cafes, color of the sky, art market, stairs, trees, bicycles, and everything. 
Can I have those? ^_^

This poem was written by old good friend, Okki or we called him Bunna. He's funny, a bit sarcastic, a bit cynical yet very romantic. And  I don't cross out the word 'very'. Mweeeee -_-
We went to the same campus, I used to read, listen, and look at his works (he also creates songs and drawing illustrations).
A few weeks ago I found this poem, and I told him. He just laughed and guessing  who the girl was on his mind at the time that inspired him. Phffffttt :p
 

Inspire Me

I loooooovvveeeeeeeeee inspiration boards. Always inspire me, well that's why they call it that way. Also enjoy to build the boards too. I went to Art School when I was at college, so in certain times we have to make inspiration board to illustrate our concept. In my work, I also make them because I work in retail fashion industry that requires me to explain concepts visually.
Browse, collect, cutting, mix and match all the findings into board, that's so much fun to do.

How do people manage their weddings? Did they really prepare all their needs for wedding? I mean ALL.. Rings, dress, blazer, groom shirt, makeup, hair piece, shoes, food, flowers, candles, cake, pay the venue, the penghulu, the documents, invitations, and so on.
In my culture, the young should obey the old so we must listen what parents say. Their expectations towards the future of their daughter, about the wedding, they also think about relatives, who should be invited to the wedding (so Indonesia). As a matter of fact, parents are just really want to see their children to be happy.
For me, I never want big wedding. I just wish a really small simple beautiful wedding. Deep down inside, I just need my parents, brother, sister, my niece, my fiance's family, our 2-3 best friends to attend and pray for our happiness in the future, new life.
But how we manage all stuffs? Me and partner want, parents want, and everybody's gonna be happy. I know, it seems impossible but hopefully me and partner could make it good, even great. Especially for both of us. Amen.
However browse the wedding's inspiration always cheer me up :)
